About MyDocumentTools

MyDocumentTools is a free collection of PDF, image, and data tools that run entirely in your browser. No file you work with here is ever uploaded to a server — merging, splitting, compressing, and converting all happen on your own device.

Why we built this

Most "free" document tools online ask you to upload your files to a server, create an account, wait through a daily limit, or accept a watermark on the result — and it's rarely clear what happens to your files afterward. We wanted a place to merge a PDF or compress an image without any of that, so we built one.

How it works

Every tool on this site is powered by JavaScript libraries that run locally in your browser — the same engine that renders this page also does the PDF parsing, image encoding, and text processing. Your files never leave your device, which means there's nothing to upload, no server-side processing to wait on, and no copy of your data sitting on a server anywhere.
